Language Arts Measurable Outcome:

Outcome: By June of 2025, students with disabilities will demonstrate measurable progress (5%) in comprehension skills as measured by VALLS (K-2) and SOLs (3-6)

Strategy 1

  • Leverage use of daily, explicit language comprehension lessons from the new core curriculum to build knowledge and vocabulary.

Strategy 2

  • Increase intentional use of multisensory, visual, verbal, written and/or interactive scaffolds and supports in whole group settings.

Strategy 3

  • Increase opportunites for students to develop oral language through pair and small group structures that promote engagement.

 

Mathematics Measurable Outcome:

Outcome: By June of 2025, the percent of students with disabilities passing the math SOL will increase from 40% to 45% unadjusted. 85% of all students will also make at least one years worth of growth as measured by the grade level screener tool (iReady).

Strategy 1

  • Increase teacher inplenmentation of explicit instruction and other components of effective mathematics intervention.

Strategy 2

  • Increase formal collaboration between classroom teachers and Multilingual teachers to delvelop the language of mathematics throuhg the use of embedded strategies during whole group and small group instruction.

Strategy 3

  • Increase teacher's implementation of strategies and converstation structures that increase academic talk between students related to Shift 4: from show and tell to share and compare.

 

Wellness Measurable Outcome:

Outcome: By June of 2025, overall attendance rate for students with chronic absenteeism with improve from 8% to 7% as measured by the Chronic Absenteeism Dashboard.

Strategy 1

  • We will implement practices to recognize good and improved attendance to reinforce attendance and strengthen student and family engagement.

Strategy 2

  • Teachers will promote student engagement and create a welcoming classroom environmnet by modeling social and emotional competencies in their interactions with students.
